Chef Chris Moore brings notable experience along with an unrivaled style described as Southern progressive with multi cultural influences. Chris draws inspiration from seasonal, regionally sourced ingredients, and the rich history of the people that cultivate the ingredients. The winner of The Stars of the Industry Best New Culinarian 2021, Chef Chris’ thoughtful approach to food is simple “Southern cuisine is a great collection of stories passed down in the form of family recipes, memories, and dishes that I have been so fortunate to experience in my career. I have lived in and loved a lot of places, and while I can’t take you there, the dishes that my team and I create will bring little pieces of those places to you.” Chef graduated from Kendall College in Chicago with a degree in Culinary Arts. Has worked with The Kimpton Hotels, and the esteemed Biltmore Estate before joining Ascent Hospitality. She has worked for three James Beard award winning chefs including French Master Chef Philippe Boulot in Portland, Oregon.
